We are committed to provide excellent medical education in medicine and allied health sciences for all our students. The strong integrated, innovative academic curriculum emphasizing on early clinical exposure, excellence teaching facilities, well qualified teaching force who bring with them years of experience in the relevant fields, and our campus location at the heart of newly developed Ipoh city have made our learning environment vibrant, lively and exciting.
We pride ourselves on the individual attention and support we offer to every student. We have active student affair unit and mentor-mentee system. Our student body has boundless enthusiasm for learning, extra curricular activities and community service.
Our campus is inextricably linked to our principal teaching hospital (Ipoh Hospital, Taiping Hospital, Hospital Bahagia, Sungai Siput Hospital, Manjong Hospital and Teluk Intan Hospital) and most of rural clinics in Perak for our teaching. Here, students can learn the basics of clinical practice by actually contributing to the care of extremely challenging patients.

The mission of UNIKL-RCMP is to improve the health of the community in Malaysia by setting the standard of excellence in medical education, research and clinical care. Diverse and inclusive, UNIKL-RCMP educates medical students, scientists, health care professionals and the public; conducts biomedical research; and provides patient and family-centered medicine to prevent, diagnose and treat human illness.
