UniKL RCMP undertakes to provide a conducive and supportive environment for teaching and learning. The teaching facilities include a medical library, 3 lecture theatres, 10 seminar rooms, a multi-purpose hall, 2 ICT laboratories, pathology museum, clinical skills laboratory, pharmacy laboratories, multi-disciplinary laboratories and reseach laboratories.
Accomodation
The college understands how worried the parents will if there wasn’t any accommodation for their children especially moving from their comfortable zone. The college acknowledges this predicament by providing off-campus hostels and transports for the student’s convenience. At present the off-campus hostels in Ipoh are available at Klebang Jaya, Asrama Kledang Emas and Asrama Sungai Rapat. The hostels can hold more than 500 students per session which is located approximately between 5 to 10 kilometers from the campus.
As in Teluk Intan, hostels are also provided at Asrama Sri Ampang, Asrama Taman Kopi, Asrama Taman Seri Manggis, Asrama Anson Comfort Home. The hostels options include single and double storey terrace houses, townhouse, bungalows, semi-detached houses and apartments. The hostels are clean, modern and fully furnished. Living in hostels not only fun for the students but it gives great opportunity to make new friends from all walks of life. Rental prices vary from RM200-RM450 per month depending on location and facilities.
In addition, private housing is also available for rental at a reasonable price in the nearby area giving it an advantage to those who prefer privacy. Student’s daily expenses in Ipoh estimated cheap because the cost of living in Ipoh is still low.
